Balsamic Asparagus with Cherry Tomatoes



Remove tough ends from asparagus.

Cook asparagus in boiling water until tender, about 4 to 6 minutes.  (Or you can microwave the asparagus for about 2 to 3 minutes.)

Place the asparagus into a colander and rinse with cool water to stop them from cooking.  Drain and place on a serving platter.  Sprinkle tomatoes over top.

In a small bowl or cup, stir together the balsamic vinegar, orange juice, garlic, salt and pepper.  Spoon the dressing over the asparagus and tomatoes.  Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
